My name is Jessica Alejandro and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist. 

I have over 18 years of experience working in the social services field.  I have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia and a Masters in Marriage and Family therapy from Central Connecticut State University.  I am a trained and experienced forensic interviewer, crisis clinician and couple and family therapist, who has worked as a Social Worker at the Department of Children and Families for 6 years, Greater Hartford Children’s Advocacy Center at St. Francis Hospital for 5 years and Wellmore Behavioral Health Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services for 6 years. I have been working in private practice, part-time, for over 8 years at Center for Relationship Healing in Norwich and Dr. Tracey and Associates in Glastonbury. I started my own independent private practice 6 years ago in Middlefield and Glastonbury.    

I specialize in working with couples in crisis/divorce, pre-marital couples, issues with co-parenting, families in distress and individuals experiencing grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety and life transitions.  

I am also a certified Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Healer, Crystal Dreaming Practitioner. I also accept clients who are only seeking Reiki/Energy work and not looking for psychotherapy.
